We were recently joined by Rotary District 6950 Governor Chris Cassella for a motivational and informative presentation. DG Cassella focused on three pillars--membership, engagement, and the Foundation. Membership is about more than finding people to join; membership is about getting involved and helping make our community and the world a better place for all. Engagement is about creating a welcoming environment for existing and new club members and connecting people to committees that align with their interests. The Foundation allows local clubs to contribute to local and international needs.
We are social beings and Rotary provides an avenue for social connectedness, sharing meals, camaraderie and doing good work with others to help others. The Rotary Club of Dunedin is fortunate to have welcomed 9 new members already this club year, and we have done so by offering many ways of connecting and giving back, locally and internationally. Come check out all that Rotary and the Rotary Club of Dunedin have to offer!
