Committee Purpose
The Membership Committee focuses on growing and sustaining club engagement. It works to recruit new members and nurtures them to become active participants in both the Rotary Club and the wider community. [1]
 
 
New Member Onboarding
The committee guides new applicants through a structured integration process:
  • Orientations: Holds dedicated orientation sessions for each applicant new to Rotary.
  • Content Updates: Maintains and updates the orientation PowerPoint presentation to keep it current.
  • Inductions: Plans and coordinates the formal induction procedure and event for new applicants. 
 
 
Retention & Engagement Strategies
The committee fosters long-term involvement for both new and existing members through targeted actions:
  • Prospective Outreach: Welcomes new prospective members and actively connects with them to ensure they feel valued.
  • Active Participation: Encourages current members to stay involved in all club functions and community initiatives.
  • Sponsor Mentorship: Requires sponsors to mentor their recruits continuously by keeping them updated on upcoming events and activities.
  • Personal Growth: Inspires new members to expand their perspectives, build leadership skills, participate in service projects, and design their own unique Rotary experience.
