Recently Dennis Kellenberger, Donation Relations Officer for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, visited the Dunedin Rotary Club. Dennis explained how the facilities operate and the residential and summer camp services provided. Youth are provided opportunities to live in a safe environment and learn valuable life skills. The residential camps provide a home-like environment, giving many young people stability and support. At both residential and summer camp facilities, youth interact with nature and take part in activities such as canoeing and archery. Giving young people a safe space and chances to gain confidence and form healthy relationships is a key aspect of the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches.
