Community Spotlight: Witches of Dunedin Support Local Music Education

The Witches of Dunedin continued their tradition of October fundraising this year, dedicating their efforts to the Rotary Club of Dunedin’s Wendy Barmore Music Scholarship Fund.

During today’s City of Dunedin Commissioners workshop, the group presented a check for $12,000 to Rotary Club President David Bramley. City Commissioners and Mayor Maureen “Moe” Freaney were in attendance for the presentation, highlighting the community-wide support behind the initiative.

The contribution will help expand opportunities for young musicians in Dunedin, honor the legacy of Wendy Barmore, and strengthen the city’s commitment to arts education.
