The Scholarship Committee is delighted to present the thank-you letters from our four senior students who received our $5,000 scholarships this year, as outlined below.

I would also like to acknowledge Pat Bauer and Connie Johnson for their dedication, effort, and contributions in first choosing our top 10, then narrowing it down to the top six, and ultimately selecting the final four recipients of our scholarships.

This year, we received 38 applications for review on February 1st. By March 31st, we need to submit the list of the four seniors chosen for our scholarships to the Pinellas Education Foundation, along with the payment schedule for the other 11 students in the pipeline, and a check for $22,450.

Thank you,

Larry Franklin

Scholarship Committee Chair

I am writing to sincerely thank you for selecting me as a recipient of your generous scholarship. I am honored and

incredibly grateful for your support, and I want you to know how much this opportunity means to me and my

family.

This scholarship will have a huge impact on my future at Oglethorpe University. It will definitely allow me to

worry a little less about the financial burden of college, and it motivates me to continue to strive for excellence in

everything I do academically, athletically, and personally.

At Oglethorpe, I will proudly be a petrel, and I will get the opportunity to play for their women's soccer team. I'm super

excited about this opportunity to play in college while also being able to balance my academics and strive to get a

Bachelor's in Science degree and a civil engineering degree.

College is challenging, and your support gives me the confidence to take it on wholeheartedly. Thank you once

again for believing in me and investing in my future. I will remember the big impact your support has given me

, and I can't thank you enough for your kindness and the opportunity you have provided me with.

Dear Scholarship Committee,

I am deeply grateful for the honor of being selected as a recipient of the Rotary Club of Dunedin Scholarship. Your

generous support will play a crucial role in helping me pursue my dream of becoming a nurse at the University of

South Florida (USF). This scholarship not only lightens my financial burden but also inspires me to work even

harder toward my educational and professional goals. Thank you for believing in my potential and for making it

possible for me to take this exciting next step in my journey.

To the Rotary Club of Dunedin, I would like to thank you all so much for this wonderful opportunity! I am honored

to be selected, and I am so grateful for your support! The money from this scholarship will greatly help ease the

financial burden of my education, allowing me to focus on learning. I will be committed to making the most of this

opportunity. Again, thank you so much, and have an outstanding day!

Dear Rotary Club of Dunedin,

I am incredibly grateful for your support as I embark on my journey to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering

at Duke University. Ranked as the fourth-best Biomedical Engineering department in the nation, I am thrilled to

have the opportunity to work with talented classmates, experienced professors, and cutting-edge resources.

The financial assistance from the Rotary Club of Dunedin is pivotal in making this dream a reality. The cost of

attending Duke University is something I would not be able to manage on my own, and your generosity has

lightened that burden. More than just a scholarship, your support is an investment in my future and my ability to

contribute meaningfully to the field of biomedical engineering.

Thank you once again, not just for the scholarship, but for helping me pursue my dreams.

Warm regards,

Luke Leininger
