Linda Christle, the St. Joseph Sound Flats Classic committee chair, discussed the fishing tournament's current status involving our club and the Dunedin Boat Club, working together to support our community for the third year. Once Linda completed her status report, she introduced the following committee members and their critical roles in supporting this fundraiser.
Club member Chris Wooten, the business owner of Mirror Marketing (website creator), told us about the website and how to use it.
Terry Hopkins, the Dunedin Boat Club Commodore, spoke about being the MC again this year and overseeing the auction.
Stacy Muellers, a member of the Dunedin Boat Club, oversaw contacting sponsors for this fundraiser.
Captain Rob Scholl of Clearwater Flats Fishing spoke about the other captains he hired to support our tournament. He recruited fishing captains from all over Pinellas County's westside, stating this would prevent everyone from showing up at the same fishing spot.
In closing, Club member Cindy Cole and a member of the Dunedin Boat Club spoke about the items she gathered or donated for our auction. A website address will be provided so people can review the items and place an early bid if interested.
