Dunedin Triathlon Chair Larry Franklin, representing the Rotary Club of Dunedin, presented a check for $500 to the Dunedin High School Navy JROTC for volunteering at this year's triathlon. Mr. Franklin told the cadets how proud the club and other volunteers were of their hard work on Saturday during setup and Sunday morning supporting the race and the tear down after the race.
Mr. Franklin informed the cadets that you volunteered to help us with our race, but we want to show our support for you by providing these monies to assist with your school year activities. In closing, Mr. Franklin hopes the cadets will help the club again at next year's race!
We called it a day at the end of this year's race.
