Our club introduced Jessica Starks, First Responder Ambassador of the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Jessica reviewed her career from starting as a firefighter to a 911 operator and is currently the first responder ambassador. Jessica reviewed the suicide rate associated with first responders. She provided a history of mental health support, which was surprising and educational. She compared mental health support over time, and it has come a long way, but it still needs improvement to provide more support.
