Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Julie Markus gave an informative and engaging talk on the election trends and the role of the Supervisor of Elections. Pinellas County is a bellwether county for the state and the country because of our unique demographics. The Supervisor of Elections office carries a lot of responsibility for making sure our elections are fair and accurate, and there are many checks and balances in the system. Supervisor Markus also puts a great deal of effort into continuous improvement so that the office runs smoothly every election cycle.
