The Rotary Club of Dunedin Has Gone to The Dogs!

Well, maybe not the dogs, but definitely the puppies. Rick Chaboudy, the Executive Director and co-founder of Suncoast Animal League, along with Karey Burek, visited the Rotary Club of Dunedin Tuesday, March 15.

Rick stated that the Suncoast Animal League is a non-profit, no-kill, no-time-limit animal welfare agency that cares for domestics and wildlife. Rick spoke about how the network they have built involves shelters, and veterinarians across the southeast work together to care for the animals in their care. Rick and Karney brought two puppies to show off to the membership. The police found these two puppies and eleven of their brothers and sisters. The puppies were only two days old and had been abandoned by their mother.

Pictured is Rick Chaboudy and Karey Burek showing off one of the puppies, and the second picture is Elaine Garris, the wife of club president Larry Franklin, receiving puppy love!
