Carlos Mercado, Community Health Navigator for the Hispanic Outreach Center, shared with us the many amazing services the Center offers to youth, adults and families. Early education programs support a love of lifelong learning. These programs are evidence-based and help children enter kindergarten at grade level. Behavioral health counseling assists young people and their families. Interpreters help community members navigate legal, social and employment challenges. Legal counseling assists with immigration and other legal needs. Entrepreneurship is fostered through classes in crafts and other skills.
