Elizabeth Brincklow, representing the Dunedin Public Theater Foundation, spoke to our membership about the company's current status to build a fully equipped theater space in Dunedin. Elizabeth mentioned overwhelming support from the Dunedin community, including support from the Dunedin City Commissioners. While our own John Freeborn and Charlie Klein have helped establish the company documents, the theater board has developed a 37-page business plan or map for success. Recently, the company worked with State Representative Kimberly Berfield to submit a grant request from the state for $1.2 million to purchase physical property and other theater needs.
